I used this both for my phone and my Kindle paperwhite. It makes it really nice that you can lay down and scroll on your phone and you don't have to worry about dropping your phone and giving yourself a black eye! When this one goes I will replace it with the exact same thing but so far I've had it for a couple of months and I use it daily and it still stays where I push it to be.

It was also very carefully packaged, which I appreciate. The clamps seem very strong and it will not damage the phone. I'm an artist so I like to make videos of my art while filming from overhead. This can do that at both vertical and landscape angles, as well as be easily adjusted to film upright as well.

Eventually I'd love circulation in my arm and with the case I had on it it was actually a bit heavy - especially over a 30 minute or more reading session. This stand can hold my phone perfectly. Base slides on my bed. Able to adjust perfectly as to read hands free in bed. Arms under the blankets as it's winter where I am. The base is a good size and has some weight to it, which helps keep it stable most of the time.

I bought this mainly because I have a terrible habit of falling asleep while watching videos on my phone, and I kept dropping it on my face. This completely solved that problem. The two flat bases slide under my mattress perfectly, and the crossbar goes right over me. It is surprisingly sturdy and doesn't wobble when I tap the screen. When I wake up, I just fold the legs and hang it on a hook on my wall so it doesn't clutter the bedroom.
